We're BAAACK!!

So I'm extremely behind with my postings....I'll try to catch up a bit. We have had a busy few weeks finishing school, enjoying camps, moving to mom and dad's for some remodeling, enjoying friends from out of town, visiting the lake, visiting Iowa and other misc summer activities.

Here we go...

ELSIE
Wow she is changing...she has figured out how to roll over (both ways) and now grabs for everything. She loves her baby food but not too fond of just plain old rice cereal. She is happiest wrapped tightly when she is sleeping and had acquired the nickname "taco bell" from papa. They can't get over the fact that she can sleep this way the whole night. She is talking a ton and seems to be extremely happy watching the action from her bjorn. I am getting some serious back and neck muscles (now I need to work on the stomach and legs somehow). Avery is slowly finding her too heavy to carry. They still are wonderful to her and keep an eye out at all times. She was 11 lbs 4 oz at 4 months, the most petite of our girls. She has been a wonderful baby and so happy. Enjoy some pix of her happenings.

LILA
Lila is really starting to seem older! She makes it through nap with no diaper. She is loving to swim - we still need to work on the face under water. We have had great times together as Avery has been busy with camps, birthday parties and her buddy Cole who was in. We spent several days at the zoo enjoying the new exhibits, swimming, library and spending time with friends. She is loving Gram/Papa's trampoline, the big bathtub and helping to feed the dogs. I love watching the smiley thing. She is so darn cute, so happy and so entertaining right now.

AVERY
A busy few weeks for my oldest...she finished school, finished ballet class and performed in front of us. She enjoyed summer school, zoo camp, a week with Cole and his family. We swam at the lake, loved the tube, jumping in the lake, picked strawberries, made smores, and sharing her room! We watched Shrek in 3D which was a funny experience. A bit scary but she was too busy trying to figure out the glasses while Lila was probably wondering why it was all blurry since she wouldnt wear the glasses. We took a trip on the metra to Glen Ellyn and out to eat. A visit to the arboretum just in time for the tadpoles and tiny frogs. We have been working on riding the 2 wheeler. She joined me at a henna party for some beautiful artwork on her foot. An amazing experience for all of us. She has been enjoying summer bday parties with pony rides, dress up, nail painting etc. One fun milestone for her (and me) was her first jump off the diving boards. She asked me in the car if she could do it and I said sure (thinking she would see it and bail). She walked right up and jumped off and was addicted. Our trip was cut short by a thunderstorm but another trip is in our future. She has made it through 2 double ear infections and dentist trip with 3 cavities. So now we must add a trip to the ENT and back to dentist for fillings. She has changed so much over the last few months. Writing, learning games, trying to read and just so independent. This will be a fun summer-hope I make it through in one piece. I'm already tired!!

I'm officially tired from the busy weeks but stayed up too late doing this. I'll get some house demo pix up this week. Enjoy the photos

I love these kids and am so happy they are mine.
